Review by hotel critic
Staying at Antico Albergo Del Sole Al Pantheon was truly enchanting, especially welcoming the New Year surrounded by iconic Roman history. The location, right in front of the Pantheon, couldn't be better-you're just a short stroll from charming piazzas and delightful cafés. The breakfast options were impressive, with a lovely mix of sweet and savory; the freshly squeezed orange juice was a refreshing touch that started our day perfectly. What stood out the most was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, especially Gabriel, who greeted us with warmth and a smile. While our initial room in the annex had low beams that made us duck, they swiftly accommodated our request for a room change, demonstrating their commitment to excellent hospitality. It's these little thoughtful touches that elevate Antico Albergo to a must-visit for anyone who appreciates modern Italian aesthetics combined with rich history. From my perspective as an interior designer, the elegant simplicity of the hotel's décor complements its grandeur-an experience that resonates with anyone seeking comfort and style in the heart of Rome.
